Texas Baptist Men have a very active ministry in San Antonio. With 90% of the disasters in Texas occurring in San Antonio and the South Texas area it is necessary that we maintain an active group of leaders committed to disaster relief. Three phases of Yellow Cap Disaster Relief Training are offered bi-annually (in the spring and fall of the year) in San Antonio. FEMA Incident Command System Class 700 & 100 Training will be offered annually. Additionally, the National Origination for Victim Assistance (NOVA) Crisis Responders Basic Training is offered annually.
The Men's Ministry is designed to assist churches to involve men in ministry action, both to their church and the community. This is achieved through such programs as: "Drawing Men to God," Man After God's Own Heart," "Wild at Heart," and others. It also provides entry points into the Texas Baptist Men's multiple ministries.
