In the midst of this very upbeat and positive report, San Antonio is full of ministry opportunities.
- The homeless population is projected at 25,000. One in five adults live in poverty.
Bexar County teen pregnancy rate of girls between 15-17 is nearly twice the US average.
San Antonio has the second highest illiteracy create among major Texas cities. Over 4000 elementary age children are at risk to be illiterate.
